I’ve been doing more research into pulled and spun sugar. I figure I’ll need some classes to be able to anything really good. I’d love to even do blown sugar. The most recent site I looked at came with the following notice, red font and all. (Why does their favicon look like the Volkswagen logo? Oh. That’s the Word Press logo. Ooops.)

Don’t try this if you aren’t very familiar with making hard candies and NEVER, under ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, allow children anywhere near where this process is being conducted. You will get burned, no matter how careful or experienced you are.
Maybe we’ll have a candy blister themed drink. Or at least a Burning Flesh drink. Not sure what Amber would mix together for that. I think that it’s going to be a matter of me making a delicious lining in the glass that looks like a seared, scarred Freddy Krueger face that breaks down in the drink so it looks like bits of floating skin. Mmm…. delicious.
